Privacy notice

Heytronix Limited(“Heytronix”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through heytronix.com. We process personal data in line with the NDPR (Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019) and the NDPA 2023 and any other applicable Nigerian law.

1. What data we collect

Identifiers you submit: name, email, phone, company, job title, message body — provided through our contact and waitlist forms.
Technical data: IP address, user agent, timezone, referrer, and pages visited — collected through privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights).

2. Why we process it (lawful bases under NDPR / NDPA 2023)

Consent — when you join the launch list or submit a contact form (NDPR 2.2(a); NDPA s.25).
Performance of a contract / steps prior to a contract — to respond to enquiries and deliver services you have requested (NDPR 2.2(b)).
Legitimate interests — site operation, security, fraud prevention, and improving the product (NDPR 2.2(f)), balanced against your rights and freedoms.

3. Retention

We keep contact-form messages for up to 24 months. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or the launch programme closes (whichever is sooner). Logs and analytics are rotated within 90 days. We delete data sooner on request.

4. Sharing & sub-processors

We share personal data only with sub-processors that operate the site and our communications:

Vercel Inc. — site hosting, analytics, speed insights.
Resend — transactional email delivery (when configured).

Where data leaves Nigeria, we rely on the recipient's adequacy or contractual safeguards (NDPR 2.11; NDPA s.41–s.45) and we keep an updated register available on request.

5. Your rights

Under NDPR/NDPA you may:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention duties.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

6. Security

We protect personal data with HTTPS in transit, hardened security headers, scoped credentials, least-privilege access to sub-processor consoles, and structured logging that excludes raw email and message bodies from operational logs.
